For so many reasons, online business or shopping was a concept that was not to be mentioned to Nigerians. Reasons being that because of fraud so many did not want to try online business so they do not loose in the end. Others said it was because other countries wound not ship to Nigeria. Still others rightfully say that the problem rest on the banks that will not establish a trusted payment gateway for online business.
Thankfully with new inventions and changing times online business has now emerged as a big player in Nigerian market. This has been because of a few changes that has been made by banks to provide better payment gateways such as:
Also people with better experiences on online trading are beginning to come back from Europe and America to establish trust worthy sites for online shopping. A lot of people who has gone into online business in Nigeria in recent years had reaped gains bountifully. We now don't need other countries to ship to Nigeria because all the big brands are now available in our local online shops. Big names such as WAKANOW, KONGA, OLX, IROKO TV, JUMIA etc have done really well.
The country has come from when we had no internet connection to when every child has it on their phone and because one of our biggest weak point is showing-off, online shopping works even more in that regard. In major Nigerian towns people just shop online to show there friends that they got it like that lol. This is very positive for online business.
Its time to jump into online business and shopping because we are leading busy lives and online business helps bridge that with its safe delivery system, you save money cos things are cheaper online because owners are not paying shop rent, you can trust payment gateways that banks are implementing and you can get to pose to your friends (omo see jege).
If you are yet to start business online or something is holding you back, please do not hesitate to get in contact and ill be able to put you thru. And if you are a shopper don't be shy, bring out that card and go shopping in the comfort of your bed. Lets spend this money.

Abuja-Nigeria
Abuja-Nigeria
The United Nations Conference on Trade ranked Nigeria number one in Africa on (FDI)
FDI inflows for Nigeria was valued at $7.03 Billion while second place South Africa is on $4.572bn. Ghana and Egypt take the 3rd and 4th spots respectively
It was further highlighted that although massive part of Nigerian investment income comes from extraction industries, it was noticed that consumer-oriented manufacturing and services is on a record high.
This further proves Nigeria to be one of the best places to invest and as we keep working together we will see ways to improve other forms of trade that does not involve the extraction industry.

How a good business improves the look and feel of a town
The days have come and gone when the sole aim of opening a business is to make profits. Nowadays people setup businesses to improve their own image and make their names more popular while still making large profits. But now in Africa we are encouraging wealthy and forward thinking business men to aim at improving the look and feel of the area where their business is situated while still making profits from their investments.
For example in Nigeria a few businesses have mad sure that where ever there name is displayed the shop and its surroundings will stand out. Businesses such as SHOPRITTE, MTN, BANKS, GLO, LG, SAMSUNG, to mention a few.
Have you noticed that businesses of the like already mentioned draw people to the area thereby opening the area and making it a contact hub in the town. People get to meet up in SHOPRITTE, do window shopping there and even use it as a sight seeing location. This is the makings of a good town. Showing how a business can improve the look and feel of a town and not waiting for the Government to put everything in place. Even the government can make the town better if they will invest in such venture. A good example is the TROPICANA at Uyo , which is their cinema and the main hang out for the town built by the governor, the wonderful Akpabio. We need more of that in other states, and if your governor has done something like that please get in contact with us and let us know.
We are using this blog to solicit with other firms to follow in this same accord when setting up a business, that way more areas in Nigeria will stand out, also nearby businesses looking at them will want to improve their own standard thereby making the area inviting to customers.
What more do you think we can do to improve the look and feel of our business locations?
Please leave your comments below.
How to achieve this:
When choosing the type of business to go into try and look at ways such business will improve the physical conditions of your location and the way people feel about the area. To get exactly this aim you might need to employ the services of business development firm and explain your business idea to them while they will look into ways to maximize your ROI while improving the location. For example in Nigeria a few businesses have mad sure that where ever there name is displayed the shop and its surroundings will stand out. Introduction to our blog
It is no mystery that the most European market has fallen apart. Most medium size businesses for example, HMV, Best buy, to mention just a few have folded over night. Small businesses are now going into extinction. The need for new grounds where we can do business is greater now more than ever.
Africa and Asia holds an answer to that question. But how do we as Africans show that we are ready to do business with the rest of the world, how do we show that monies invested in our continent is worth investing, what sectors are hot right now in Africa, what countries in Africa are our business gold mine, who in Africa are doing business the right way, how can we show more support to businesses or producers in Africa to better the way we do business, how do we make our finishing better to beat stated standards, what are the major problems facing African business and how can we tackle them? These and many other questions we will be reviewing on our page, blog, website and YouTube channel.
So watch out for BizHelp .
